  When i first listened to C&S , it was probably not in the best of circumstances . And especially it had this similar tune to one Indian Film song so i dint put much thought into it . And that song was Running from the album 'More than a lot' . But then came the next song , Pieces and i was pretty sure at that time that i was going to badly wanna listen to their next album . C&S released their second studio  album 'No More Idols' in  2011 after much delays .

The albums first single was released back in 2009 , End credits managed to peak at No.9 in the UK singles chart . The duo then released Let You Go in 2010 revealing it to be the second official single to be released from their second studio album, named No More Idols .The single featured vocals from Mali and debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 11; marking the duo's second consecutive Top 40 hit. Hypest Hype featuring Tempa T was confirmed in October 2010 to be the third single from the album and was released as a free download from their official website . The album debuted at number 2 in the UK and was certified Gold in the first week of sales .

In 2009 Chase & Status founded the record label  MTA Records, specialising in drum and bass and dubstep music. Some Artists signed to the label include Cotti , Nero, Redlight, 16Bit . 

WHEN THE BASS-DROP GOES OFF , YOU ARE DUBSTEP-ED!!!!

Thank god for Lloyds Tsb Advert or else i would have never started listening to Dubstep . i wanted to know what Dubstep music was exactly like and hows it any different from trance or house . So i Googled a few artists and listened to them and after a few days it was like i needed to check myself into a rehab for dubstep addiction . So yeah , Dubsteps an all new genre and has already reached the zenith of popularity as Skrillex has got them Grammy nominations this  time around . He was nominated for 5 acts (the same number as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga combined) , including the Best New Artist for his latest album "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" 

 

 

Skrillex apart , i wanted to mention one other Dubstep artist doing some really great music . If any of you've listened to Lloyds Tsb Advert , you will know the beauty of melodic Dubstep . And i don't think anyone can come close to Blackmill in that genre within a genre . Blackmill videos aren't rich and flashy but just a few pictures in a slideshow with his music going on behind . It brings you the heaven to your computer screens in short .

Amy Checks Into 'Rehab' One Last Time

 The music industry lost one of the most dangerously talented musicians yesterday.Even if her musical talent and her unequaled singing voice was overshadowed by fame,drug addiction and endless tabloid reports ,everyone believed that she will be back to her best .

Even though she had just released two albums till now,she gained so much appreciation for her voice and her unique different style of music which included various genres like classic pop, jazz and rock.She was very well known for her song-writing skills and powerful contralto vocals.Amy debuted with her album Frank in the year 2003 which was a success in the UK and also won her the Mercury prize.The album featured hits like "Stronger than me" and "Take the box" to name a few.The album entered the UK charts at 60th and finished at 13th and was also certified double platinum.
Black To Black is Amy's second and final album which was released in 2006.The album was a worldwide hit and it won her 5 Grammy awards during the 50th annual grammy awards.The album produced many super hits like "Back To Black","Rehab","You Know I Am No Good","Tears Dry On Their Own" and "Love Is A Losing Game". The album won best pop vocal album while "Rehab" won best female pop vocal performance,song of the year and record of the year with Amy also winning best new artist. The album was also nominated for Album of the year.TIME magazine named "Rehab" one of The 10 Best Songs of 2007, ranking it at #1.

All the fame was the main cause that lead to her self destruction.Her addiction for crack and alcohol led to serious health complications in 2008 and also made her very weak.Her lackluster stage performances and many stage bloopers were all a direct result of her self destructive mode.Her talent has no bounds and she showed that with her music but she has always been one who has not tapped her full potential.The singer's drug and alcohol abuse were always a part of tabloid reports from 2006 right till her death.And,her legal problems with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil made her even more worse and dependent on drugs and alcohol.
Amy Winehouse , the born-jewish girl from north london who swept the world with her voice,died 23rd july,aged just 27!!Like so many other artists,her music will always live on.

British Invasion Of Rock Music,1960's.

No band/artist has changed the course of rock music like them.It all started in Liverpool ,England basically because it was one of the most important urban city in the UK at that time.It was said that there were around 400 bands that were active at that time which resulted in a massive flourish of music in England.These bands were often performing in Hotels , Clubs and Small Concerts to get the big break.

The Beatles got theirs in the year 1962 which shot them to super stardom.Because of that ,a number of bands from Liverpool also made into the charts like "The Searchers".Coming back to The Beatles,it always consisted the same line up of four from their formation at 1960,John  Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney,George Harrison and Ringo Starr.The Beatles got immense fame for the release of their first single 'Love Me Do' at the year 1964 and even though they were together only for a mere six more years,they came to be known as one of the greatest bands of all time.A simple fact-The Beatles is the best selling band of all time.

 In the year 1967 they released a album  Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band that is still considered a masterpiece.Many critics consider their music has the finest ever and even after approximately 50 years after their break-up,their music is still in top demand!.A very few out of their massive list of super hits are "yesterday","Hey Jude","Cant Buy Me Love","All My Loving","This Boy","Eight Days A Week","Help!","Lady Madonna",Ballad Of John And Yoko","Ticket To Ride","Ticket To Ride","Yellow Submarine","Let It Be (From the Academy Award Winning Film)".

Tragedy struck The Beatles fans when John Lennon was murdered outside his residence in New York in 1980 by one of his own fans.Although after their Break-up in 1970,the members of the band released their own solo albums which often included 'featurings' from other members although all of them did not perform in one single song rather in different songs in the same album.Ringo Starr's solo work "Starr" was one album that involved the work of all the other members but in different songs.George Harrison Died of cancer in the year 2001 and only Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr is still active in the music scene.

The Beatles will always be remembered as a true legend of rock n roll music and their music will ALWAYS continue to fascinate people all over the globe!!

If u are a 60's music fan,then you just cannot have missed one particular song.This song topped charts all around the world and if India had one by then,it would've topped it too.
Delilah was a song by the artist Tom Jones that was released in the year of 1968.
It was written by Les Reed ( who also wrote "There Is a Kind Of Hush") and lyrics by Barry Mason (also "Here It Comes Again" to name a few) and performed by Tom Jones.
In the 60's Barry Mason and Les Reed created a brilliant partnership which resulted in many super hit songs like "Who's Doctor Who".

Coming To Delilah , Just when you hear the starting beats,you would have realised that you are in the music fairyland.And only when the bass comes in , would you have realised that this is no fairy tale!

Tom Jones narrates this song like he is spying on his women and finds her cheating.The whole time being outside his women's house, he sees her enjoying herself and being more happy.Once her affair leaves,Tom gets to her door and knocks.He just could not take it anymore when he sees her laughing and in a fit of rage , stabs her.
The deceived lover soon returns to his normal senses and begs her to forgive him but by that time,the police has arrived and they take him away.
